JGraphics offers all the standard graphics overlay elements, graphic presets, full integration with JPlayout and more great features.

We are proud to announce that our graphical overlay solution – JGraphics is now released. It is a powerful solution, yet simple to use. JGraphics enables all the standard graphical elements overlay, such as Text, Image, Image Sequence, Crawl and Roll elements. Font, color, outline and transparency control of each element is available. The graphical overlay solution can be used in stand-alone mode with the full range of the BlackMagic video cards. It can also be used as integrated module from within the JPlayout solution – for combined broadcast output with graphical overlay.

Another feature implemented are availability of graphical presets. Grouping of graphical elements into presets can be very helpful. Presets are easy to switch between and they provide direct integration with the playout solution.

Here are some of the main features of the graphical solution:

  • Powerful and easy to use television graphics solution;
  • Input interfaces: SD-SDI, HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite, Component;
  • Integration with the playout solution;
  • Live graphics editing mode for instantant refresh of the output;
  • Text objects support;
  • Image objects support;
  • Image sequence objects support;
  • Crawls objects support;
  • Scroll objects support;
  • Per-object transparency control;
  • Font, colour, background and outline control;
  • Objects edge smooth and shadow;
  • Graphical presets;
  • RSS feed object support.

After the JGraphics is now released we will continue to develop and extend the solution. Following the integration in JPlayout, we are planning to furthermore integrate the JGraphics in our products. Next the graphical overlay will be added to our Capture & Encoding solution – JCapture, and Encoder & IP Streaming solution – JIPEncoder.
