We are proud to announce the release of our main encoding and streaming solution – JIPEncoder. The product is designed ingest audio and video from various input devices and cards, perform audio and video compression and multiplex and stream the multiplexed stream over the network. The supported encoding and multiplex formats are: MPEG-2 Transport Stream, AVC/H.264, MPEG-2, MPEG-1, MPEG Audio Layer I/II/III and AAC. The solution supports real-time SD and HD encoding and streaming.
JIPEncoder offers real-time SD/HD encoding & IP streaming. Both manual and time-automated workflows are covered.
Some of the main features of JIPEncoder are:
- Vast variety of output format resolutions and frame rates, from SD up to HD, including 3D;
- Input interfaces: SD-SDI, HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite, Component;
- Output: IP (UDP or RTP);
- Stream container: MPEG Transport Stream;
- Video compressions supported: MPEG-1/2, AVC/H.264;
- Audio compressions supported: MPEG Audio Layer I/II, AAC;
- Audio volume metering and control;
- Bitrate preview module;
- CPU load preview module;
- Video encoding PSNR preview module;
- Automation: single, daily and weekly encoding through a schedule module;
- Manual encoding mode;
- Timer.
After the JIPEncoder’s release we will continue to further develop and extend the solution. Our immediate plans include build-in Graphics overlay, adding new input and output formats, and integrating monitoring features. So you might want to keep an eye on the solution.
